Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas

Within the WFSDallas young adult program, youth have options to identify their future career path. Youth have access to "no cost" services which include: basic skills training, tutoring, high school equivalency instruction, assistance to improve English skills, skills training and much more!  Pending eligibility requirements, support services reasonable and necessary to obtain/retain employment are available, but not limited to child care and transportation assistance, eye glasses, tools/equipment necessary to start a job, clothes from the workforce closet, and testing fees!

We meet employer needs by developing "talent" and credentials for job seekers throughout Dallas County.  Eight workforce centers through Dallas County offer self-help to accomplish job search assistance, job matching and career exploration!  All Centers have computers available, learning labs, work-ready workshops (resume writing, social media for job search, interviewing skills, money management, networking and more), and weekly hiring events.
