At Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas, we have had the privilege of being part of the Mesquite Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) Taskforce since its inception in 2016. Over the years, this collaborative effort has allowed us to support and recognize outstanding businesses in the Mesquite area. One of the highlights of our work each year is selecting the Mesquite area Employer of the Year, and we are thrilled to announce that the 2025 Employer of the Year Award was presented to Hexagon Purus.
On January 22, 2025, we celebrated Hexagon Purus’ remarkable achievements in electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing with the presentation of the prestigious award. This global leader in clean energy solutions operates a cutting-edge, 216,000 square-foot facility in Mesquite, designed to manufacture battery modules, battery packs, electric vehicle subassemblies, and full-scale electric vehicles. With a strong presence in countries such as Norway, Germany, Ontario, and California, Hexagon Purus’ expansion into Mesquite in 2024 marks a pivotal moment in both the company’s growth and the city’s ongoing economic development.
